Our parent company Swire Shipping Pte. Ltd., founded in 1872, is the wholly owned deep-sea shipping arm of John Swire & Sons Limited.
Headquartered in Singapore, Swire Shipping owns and operates an extensive network of services in the Asia-Pacific region and globally. The company offers high-frequency liner shipping services in the Asia-Pacific, transpacific services between the Pacific Northwest and North Asia, and specialist projects and heavy lift shipping solutions to the energy, renewable and infrastructure sector in the project logistics market. Swire Shipping also provides integrated logistics services such as customs clearance, inland transportation services and cargo management solutions that enable end-to-end supply chain management for its customers, complementing its liner shipping products.

John Swire & Sons Limited, Swire Shipping’s parent company, is headquartered in the UK. The company holds controlling stakes in a range of businesses trading in the UK, USA, Europe, and Papua New Guinea, as well as in the Swire Group’s deep sea shipping businesses which are headquartered in Singapore. It is responsible for formulating and directing overall group strategy and provides a range of services including recruitment, employment and training of staff for the group and its subsidiaries.
